Wherever ventilation systems are present, our LRS smoke switch models keep you safe by providing a fast response in the event of a fire. In order to detect a fire and prevent smoke from spreading through the ventilation ducts, air is continuously sucked into the LRS measuring chamber by means of its parallel airflow system. Here, the air is evaluated by an automatic monitoring system. If smoke is detected, fire and smoke protection dampers are activated within the ventilation ducts to prevent the hazardous spread of smoke. Completely autonomous and efficient.
