Action Day 2025 in Lenggenwil - Securiton impresses with a live demo of advanced security technology
20.11.2025
The Action Day offered an exciting look into the future of security technology. Securiton demonstrated, through an impressive live demo, how autonomous drones and robots already work with modern software to enable efficient security processes.
Around 300 visitors experienced firsthand how these innovative technologies can support security teams and what potential connected systems offer. The event brought together several companies presenting their solutions to a wide audience. On site, Securiton showed how modern security robotics works in practice and what automated systems can already do today.
Security robotics in live operation
The demonstration focused on how the SecuriRobot AeroS (drone) and SecuriRobot TerraS (robot) operate in realistic scenarios. Both systems were located at our headquarters in Zollikofen, about 170 kilometres from the event site. From Lenggenwil, they were controlled in real time while at the same time showcasing their fully autonomous capabilities. This combination of autonomy and remote control formed the basis of the first scenario.
The robot carried out licence plate checks in the parking area, detected open doors and unknown individuals, and reported such events directly to the command centre. The drone completed its entire mission autonomously. From takeoff to the patrol route based on detailed 3D mapping and through to landing, it managed every step independently. When needed, both systems could be controlled manually via a web browser. This gave visitors a realistic insight into the flexibility and reliability of modern security robotics.
Connected security with SecuriLink Genetec
In the second part, Securiton demonstrated the possibilities of unification within the SecuriLink Genetec software. The showcase illustrated how access control and video security systems work together with security teams on a central platform. The theft simulation was particularly striking. The systems immediately detected the incident, made it visible, and supported the security teams during the targeted intervention. When the simulated thief was finally stopped, the audience reacted with spontaneous applause.
The Action Day 2025 offered a dynamic program with many interesting encounters. We already look forward to the next edition and to being part of this event again.
